I get to the office, plug it in, and my monitors just work; Lenovo laptop with usb-c that flaked when I connected monitors about half the time. Note that it will not provide full 4k res from both ports, but that is a small price for ease of use and consistent stability. So much nicer than monkeying with the usb-c every time a slight breeze hit that cable's connection to my monitors.
